Hi, I am still kind of new here. I have posted only a few threads including a thread under the Avalanche section for my truck which can be found here.

One of the few things I wanted to do to the truck was mostly suspension related. My first truck was a real fixer upper so it was extremely nice to finally be able to spend money on things that actually improve the look of a vehicle rather than to maintain it. I started college today, and one things I finally got myself to do before school started again was to retrofit in some projectors. Also seeing as I live quite far from school and I have night classes, what is better than rolling up with a proper projector retrofit when most of the people where I live have god-awful PnP Hids in stock halogen reflectors?

Well enough talk I guess, I started the retrofit just a couple of days ago and in all honesty I was extremely amazed on how simple it was to actually do it. It can honestly be one of the simpler things I have done to the truck and I highly recommend doing it. Of course this is the first time I actually retrofitted anything regarding lighting on the truck so I am not a "pro" by any means. Of course I have to give thanks to The Retrofit Source and BlackFlameCustoms for answering all my questions before I ever started the project.

The retrofit includes:
-Aftermarket OEM Style Eagle Eye Brand Headlights
-Morimoto H1 5.0 Projectors (polished and lubed hi-beam solenoid rod)
-E46-r Extended Shrouds
-Morimoto 3Five 5000k hid kit

Pictures are bleh, I took them outside my house and in the field next to it. I couldn't get a good picture of the cutoff, I tried holding my camera steady with a slow shutter speed to capture more light.

Thanks for moving the thread to the right section Nathan.
I love the lights, I am going to have a hard time driving my other truck at night haha.
I was driving around town for an hour amazed at how the cutoff line is.

I actually spent just a little under $500. I bought the projector/hid retro combo from TRS with the high beam splitter for a total of $305 flat there plus $130ish for the headlights on eBay. Aftermarket style OEM must be used to save the hassle of killing yourself trying to take apart the OEM lights.

I was actually thinking about doing a write up.... But I was just way to eager to do the project that I completely forgot.

Thanks everyone for the comments btw
