It was all plugged in and working fine, and then stopped working. I checked the plug and it seems ok; none of the pins are bent and I am getting 12v at the connector on the harness. However just to make sure I will go back and verify that I am actually getting 12v to the light.

In my case, the connector to the light and the harness are not an exact match and the rubber seal on the harness connector won't go inside the connector on the fog. So I will need to address that regardless. I figured that was due to the model year being different, but it sounds like your situation is similar.

I'll report back after I've tested the light.

Put jumper from positive of fog wiring to positive of light itself then ground the negative of light to bolt. That will tell you if its a plug issue or blown light itself. I highly doubt its a blown light since they have 10 year warranties, about everyone has had some issue with the plug.

I just now confirmed it is a dead soldier. Ran 2 jumper wires - 12v to red wire on light, ground to black. No Bueno. Even confirmed by checking with a VM to the alligator clips connected directly to the terminals on the light.

Wow that is shit! TRS is great about the warranties so shouldn't have any issues. I wonder what caused both to blow?

So I got a set of the black xb led fogs and hated the black color on my chrome front end Denali. So I found fast headlights that sold some chrome versions. I worked a deal to separate my fogs and send them the black inserts to be chromed. Took a few weeks to get the turn around due to batch shipments of chrome process. It was a pain to separate but managed it and resealed with butyl. Then clear coated the lenses and installed. The output is significantly better over and drop in led or hid bulb setup! Well worth the money if your serious about light output. Here are some pics of the process.

Just one light is out. I'm sure they will take care of it; I got my first retrofit kit from them back in '09 and they've been good to deal with. I'd be happy to crack the light open to check for a wiring issue, but won't do that unless they say it's ok and won't void warranty.

Something else that happened before this was that one time I hit the fog button, and that fog didn't come on. Then I turned the fogs off and then back on, and it did come on. Anyway I'll be calling them today or tomorrow about this.
