Motor stall

I have a 2002 Tahoe with a 5.3 flex fuel/ gas. When coming to a sop the engine dies. I have replaced the fuel filter, air filter, IAC valve and the throttle position sensor. Car does not stall when I come to a stop now but will die first time I start whether engine is hot or cold now the “service engine soon” light comes on. Any ideas?

Yep, code(s) would help for sure. How old are the rest of the tune related components? Plugs and wires? Throttle bore clean? MAF and MAP clean?

Good call on this. I had forgot about 3-4 rigs over the years that I saw the exact same symptom and the stuck egr valve.
