LOL. Yes, I like the '02s also. The more plush seats and steering wheel design give me that feeling of old school American luxury, which I am a big fan of. The main reason I didn't go for a '00-'02 with my recent Tahoe purchase was the lack of double din stereo opening. I know a double din can be custom fitted into the '00-'02, I just didn't want another project.

Yeah I did the conversion, wasn’t hard but finding the DD bezels for the Denalis is getting hard. I ended up stripping all the wood grain and painting the interior parts anyway so I could have used a Tahoe one.

Really nice looking 2005 Denali! Like he said not a lot of differences between 2005 and 2006 rigs. Some of the 2005 trucks had the older style glass hatch with the trim going around the border of the glass and some 2005 trucks had the newer style glass with no border trim and just the little handle bolted to the glass. Where as all 2006 SUVs that I’ve seen in person have the newer style glass. The other minor difference is that the 2005 SUVs that had both onstar and XM radio antennas on the roof. The little round one with the point sticking up and the little square one over the passenger side of the roof. The 2006 trucks got the XM antenna hidden somewhere inside the body of the truck and onstar antenna changed to the little “shark fin” style antenna over the driver seat.
