when i had dual exhaust, i went with a 2.25" pipe instead of a 2.5" to avoid that.

That still come out to 4.5 in pipe still to much for a 5.3 anything over 3in and you lose back pressure

I'd rather have deeper sound then worry about a little back pressure, always 2.5" for a V8, IMHO.

Which 50 Series exactly is in the video Yuke2k (I know its not your truck, just figured you might know)? Flowmaster has different mufflers under its 50 series c ategory. Nothing labled "regular" For example: 50 Series HD, 50 Series Delta Flow, 50 Series SUV Performance, and 50 Series Big Block.

Honestly I'm not sure man. If I had to hazard a guess, I would say it was the 50 series Delta Flow, but I'm not 100% on that. I know it wasn't the big block or the SUV muffler, he would of told me when I asked. It's gotta be either the Delta Flow or HD. Prolly the Delta.

I only have one to recommend because I've only ever upgraded one muffler. Check out Spintech. I have a Spintech Sportsman XL on my Ram 5.2. Gives it a little more rumble, a little throatier sound, but it's not obnoxious. When I was looking I asked the muffler guy about dualing it out. He told me he would if I wanted him to, it was my money, but I could go to a 3" pipe from the cat back, get the same results, and save money. I think my Tahoe already has a 3" pipe so all I plan on doing to it is replacing the muffler some day.
