Share some details on the de-chrome! OEM grille or aftermarket? How did you prep the grille for paint. I'm about to get my front bumper repainted and would like to do the grille as well. Mines OEM but I will buy aftermarket if I have to. Looks awesome BTW!! Only other thing I would do is a Black Escalade rear hatch/glass for the nice matching gloss black look and third brake light. Cheers

The grill is aftermarket. I took everything to a sandblast shop and they chemically stripped all the chrome, then sandblast, then powder coat everything.

What did you do to make the HD grill fit with the stock bumper

I trimmed about 1 1/2" off the bottom and 1 mounting peg behind the grill. After that it goes right in.
