I got my 99 tahoe 2dr last year at a steal . up in maine its in great shape.Im a motor head at heart and plan on restoring the truck to original.So far I have replaced the entire front end,all brakes and rear leafs.My next move is to upgrade the engine.There is still that needs to be done,and im going to document it to help others Ive had issues with eating dist caps every 4 months to fuel pressure.Haven't fixed them but hopefully will.One project at a time canvas.png

Looks to be in great shape. I had an 01 Chevy Express that I'm pretty sure the motor was similar to the one in your 99. It had the 5.0 early Vortec motor. It also used to eat through caps that quick. It was part of the ignition system under the hood. Once I changed it I never had the early cap failure again. It was almost 5 yrs ago and for the life of me I can't remember what it's called.
Maybe it was the module?
