I'm down to 3 trucks now, last night I signed the title over to my neighbors 16yo son(great kid!) for $1 :D...he helped me a lot with the Jeep build last summer. I spray painted the entire truck blue as he wet sanded it and learned lots of different mods... I taught him how to install the carpet and hook up the insanely loud stereo system

Poor kids father passed away so hopefully I've helped create another ''car guy'' in his absence

Some before and after pics

I threw in some more blue led's today. Here's the 4x4, headlights and the fog light switches...I found 12v power on the black plug that plugs into the 4x4 switch. The brown wire with white tracer will give you 12v only when the parking/headlights are turned on

I used that wire to power the headlight, 4x4 and fog light switches

Fog light switch only needs 1 bulb. You will have to drill a hole in every switch so the wires can poke out

A184.jpg

I used 4 led's in the 4x4 and headlights switch

A185.jpg

For the headlight switch I had to dremel some of the raised edges inside the cover as to not crush the wires...the black arrows show what needed to be cut

This is NOT the wire powered by the parking/headlights, the wire you want is brown with a white tracer...not enough light inside the truck so I screwed up and tapped into the wrong wire

Finished look

Moving up to the map lights and rear ac controls, I found 12v power from the parking/headlights on the brown wire. This is the smallest plug with 3 wires

I filed down 2 led's for some ambient lighting... I drilled 2 holes into the map lights cover for the led's and wired those to the same brown wire

My phone really sucks and this is the best pic I could get without too much glare...I'll take some night time pics of everything later

A194.jpg

For the ambient lighting I counter sank the 2 led's so they're recessed inside the cover, after filing them down roughly 1/4'' they now give off a nice blue glow rather than a bright blinding beam

To be continued  The only easy day was yesterday

Great job. I bet that's gonna look sexy at night. :boobs:Gotta take wifey out for a moonlight(led) drive. :D

Thanks, it looks incredible inside the truck at night right now...these pics definitely don't show the true effects of the ambient lighting

Wifey's too spoiled to get into the Hoe lol :buttkick:
