Update: I went to look at the Escalade today and it was in a little rougher condition than the seller described...it's a 2003 with 130k miles and he was asking $5k, after continuous bickering with the hard headed(clueless) seller I managed to pick her up for $2900

It will most likely cost me roughly around $1200(full tune up) to get her up to spec, I brought my OBD2 scanner with me and the only code I was able to pull was a bad 02 sensor, the rear rotors and pads are shot but I still have a full set of power stop drilled and slotted rotors with calipers, pads and stainless steel brake hoses in the box I can install... at the end of the day, an NBS Escalade in almost mint condition for under $3k is a score in my book

I'll post some pics tomorrow after I get home from work. On another note...we received 13 full cash offers on the house today! :D

You stole that Escalade I think I saw the one your talking about on CL, can't wait to see pics and hopefully you sell the house asap

You aint kidding brother, the market on homes is exploding at the moment...my wife and I have lost out on 3 dream homes so far, they disappear within days of going on the market.

I should of been wearing a ski mask when I met the seller lol...my mechanic spent 45 minutes dissecting that poor Escalade, the seller wasn't very knowledgeable and it was interesting to watch his facial expression from beginning to end, his jaw dropped after every flaw my buddy found...here's the listing

2003 Cadillac Escalade

The house should be sold before weeks end...gonna be a little hectic for us to find a new place or we will have to go into contract for an extended 60 days

Some sellers have no clue, looks pretty decent looking forward to seeing what you do with it

Let's just say his grammar reflects his speech lol...the headlights, grille, door handles and wheels are the primary things that need to go... I have a strong dislike for chrome!:doublepuke:
