Hey everyone and glad to find a website of likeminded enthusiasts.
I made some mods to my 2004 ** including headlights, rear lights, tinted windows, factory nav system, rims, tires and awaiting new wood kit for interior.
What advise or recommendations would you have for additional mods?
I like the truck looks dark and mean so dont want to over do it.
I'm thinking performance mods, new grill, motor enhancements etc?

Any ideas??

I always like to throw on a CAI and cat back exhaust system for starters, i ve heard the black bear tune really makes a big difference but havent had it done to mine yet.

oh ok thanks.
I researched a bit but there seems to be a lot of choices and price points.

Is ther a general preference to a certain type?

I ve had K&N on all of my vehicles and noticed a difference. There are alot of people that liek the AEM as well. I ve only used K&N so i couldnt give you a comparrison to which one is better, im willing to bet they ll be really close to the same performance in my opinion. here is a link i found for a little more info and chat on the subject.

Welcome!
I say do a intake, black bear tune, and exhaust and that should give you the performance your looking for or at least a big improvement over stock.

Depends on how much you want to spend. Whats your budget? Do you want to change the look a little more or make it faster?

Well budget not so much the issue but I do want to increase performance and if possible fuel economy
In addition seeing a nice Tahoe with a nice sounding exhaust is also appealing

I was also thinking of some nicer looking rotors instead of the rusty stock ones that are on there. Even though I painted the calipers black
