My Denali seems extremely quick, what gives?

Im coming out of a Jag XKR, Wife drive a Land Rover......

My new to me 03 Denali seems extremely quick and runs like a mad man.
My previous entry in this class was an 05 Sub Z71.

My denali has 3:73 gears but it seems very fast.

What are the 0-60 times on these trucks?

Its not. Its a high 6 second truck. Then again though, compared to a 9 second Discovery it is.

LOL anything in the 6's I consider quick. My XKR was 4.5-4.9,

Ahhh. I came from a 3.6sec CTS-V, a 3.4sec Jeep SRT8, and a 4.2sec 300C SRT8, so 6's to me seems slow. It feels like my 12 Denali takes an eternity to get going (6.2sec).

Your srt8 300C is 4.2? I would need need slicks to get mine to hook up and get those times.

I try to adjust my POV for average 0-60 times. cts and srt8 all wheel drive jeeps are extreme point of view changers.

What have you done to your denali?

My 300 SRT8 could do consistent 4.18-4.27s. Of course that wasn't on stock tires. I was running 305/35-20 Pirelli P-Zeros in back, with 275/40s in front.

Denali I've hardly started with. Just intake and tune, so far. Headers and exhaust next, blower next winter.

6.1 0-60 and 15.0 1/4, not sure how accurate these numbers are or where they came from. I will say I was very impressed with the performance on my test ride of one, much less so by what i read about mpg.

Those times are off. That would make it quicker then the current one, despite 58 less hp, and 2 less gears.
