My new ride. :pepper:
1970 Cadillac Coupe DeVille.

It almost fits in the parking spot. And puts SUV's to shame.
I'm pretty sure the 472 cubic inch motor weighs more than a lot of new cars.
:rockit:

Global warming... :flipthebird:
I hadn't even owned it 24 hours yet and the seller has already called about buying it back.

Absolutely none. I'm going to slowly restore it. Which won't be that much work considering the condition it's in. The stereo hidden under the dash(I'm going to hide it in the glove box) and FlowMasters already on it are as much customization as I'm gonna do.
In my opinion cars from this era are already about as perfect as they're gonna get.

6,500. The condition it's in though, he could have sold it for closer to ten, easily. I pointed this out to him after we deposited my check in his bank.

It has a little rust starting to push through the paint on the lower quarter panels and some in the truck. The motor isn't as pretty as it once was. But that can be fixed with some love, sand paper and paint.
The weather stripping is dry and starting to crack. The interior is as perfect as 40 years would ever allow. And the motor runs strong and starts with a single key turn.

I would definitely drive that, but make mine black please. Sounds like you got a great deal.
