My father has a 2005 silverado 11.6 MPG....my Chevrolet Tahoe 2001 LT 5.3 gets 12.6...and my mothers traverse is getting 14 MPG cool right? 71 to fill up the traverse a supposed full efficient crossover...

My Burb gets about 13 mpg in the city. My dad's '10 silvy CC gets about 15 mpg (2wd) in the city. Luckily my GP gets about 25 in the city and the wife only drives the Burb about 400 miles a month or so. The truck....I don't even bother checking :D

the avg readout in the yuk is 16.6 its about half city/half hwy so i really dont complain about it for the size etc...

I know it's hard, but easy on the GO pedal. My '02 5.3 hoe just posted 19.2mpg and it's looking like it's going to be over 20mpg on this next fill up.

Sic Burb' BTW... Love the leather.

That's the beauty of owning these truck. We expect the gas prices to go up. I would buy a bigger truck I just couldn't down size. I love my trucks way to much. Just like all of you.
I would venture to say the price of gas will hit 5.00 a gallon by summer.
