The chrome was flaking on the back so I took a razor blade and cut off all the loose stuff and I'll paint it a nice silver on the back side so it doesn't flake anymore! For $200 they're in awesome shape

Nice clean truck! And nice score on the wheels. You should be able to find some decent tires on CL too. I got a whole list of mods here somewhere...

As for MPG, there really isn't much you can do other than the following:
Proper oil and maintenance.
Proper tire inflation
Using the right pedal as if there's an egg under it

You could change the gearing to something better for in-town driving.

They are 20's. I think about 8 inches wide. Where can I get center caps?

Nice find on the wheels. For center caps, maybe ebay. If you've got a spot in your area that sells used wheels/tires, try them too
