Hey guys recently bought an 05 tahoe a few months ago and after the first month i noticed a service tire notifocation. Noticed tores up front were a couple psi low so i inflatted no issue to the next month. At 32psi each and inflat now a couple weeks and down to 25psi. I tried looking for a leak but couldnt find anythinf. I dont have the money to put into a new set so im curious what to do... i think the truck has those dps sensor things so i dont know if i can use the green goo stuff to fill them up with

Im not sure about the slime, the sensors are called TPMS(tire pressure monitoring system). take them to a tire shop and them look for a leak.

Do not use the slime stuff.

Take your truck to the tire shop and they will usually test for leaks for free, because they are hoping to sell you tires

May just need a TPMS rebuild kit. Consists of new o-rings. Shouldn't be very much $.

I had the same issue. I couldn`t find a leak until i removed the tires and put like 50 psi in them and put them flat on the ground and sprayed soapy water around the beads. There were many small very slow leaks.

Over time the clear coat peels off around the bead causing leaks. When i put my new tires on at my friends shop i just sanded the inner lip of the wheel smooth and that stopped any leaks.
