Update: replaced the TP sensor since the reading was a little off. I still have the same problem.

(Pic is old) Replaced the ignition coil and the module that goes with it. Replaced the idle valve on the throttle body. Cleaned the map sensor and put a new air filter on too. So I took off the distributor cap and rotor button to make sure everything was on correctly and it was. But when I was trying to put the cap back on I dropped a tool and it went to the top of the transmission. So I had to crawl under and fill around. While I was down someone pointed out that an exhaust pipe flange was missing.
