You have measured these micro particles and discovered they are becoming larger as the filter ages?

That's the first I've ever heard of a dealer not allowing a customers oil/filter. That is considered a monopoly, which is illegal under FTC regulations. Sort of like an insurance company requiring you to use their auto repair shop.
