Do a serpentine belt for the squeak. I had that problem since new on my 01. Belt looks good but a new one will make the squeak go away for about 20-30k. Skip trying belt dressing it will make it worse a belt is 28 bucks. Do the AC belt while you are doing it.

Fix brakes. I have had very good luck with stock rotors, and ceramic pads. I really see no need to upgrade to fancy rotors, and pads. Tahoes, and burbs were designed to tow, and accounts for it in braking design. I have always thought the tahoe had good braking. You may find the rear dust shields are rusted out replace while you are in there.

Do a trans flush and filter. Do not do fancy trans tune additives or flush cleaners. Just drain filter, and fill. A lot of people end up with problems from them down the road.

Do a radiator flush.....See recent post on "Weak heat" as to why you should be prudent.

You sound like you got the belt thing under control, but sometimes they just need to be tightened. Check that before investing in new belts, save a few bucks.

I dunno.

Maybe it's not the serpentine belt making the noise? I've heard other belts do it, too.

Only belts

Are the serpentine, and AC belt both of which have non adjustable tensioners.

Ok, fine. On every other car I've owned you could tighten the damn things yourself.

Bunch of smarty-pants....

Hold on a minute. Why all the hate? I suppose we should just shut up to spare your feelings, and let the guy look all over for a belt adjustment when we know there is not one because you said so. Man up your wrong, and don't be a baby about it. If you don't know the answer say I don't know the answer......You will always be right.
