Radio installed today along with the Deanli wood.

Mine dash kit is the metra kit, and I don't like how it fits. Might try a different dash kit or might try to gently sand it down a little on the outsides to get it to look ok. Maybe the scosche kit fits better? I don't think mines upside down...

That darker woodgrain looks good! How much did you have to shave behind the radio to get it to fit?

That darker woodgrain looks good! How much did you have to shave behind the radio to get it to fit?

Behind the radio is a metal bar going across. in front of that (between the bar and the radio) is 2 plastic dash pieces. Like litterally part of the upper and lower dash. Dremeled them out in 30 seconds, fit like a glove. Without the radio plugged in (no wires of any kind) the radio fit fine. but with rca's, wires, ipod adapter, etc. it wouldn't fit without removing the plastic.
