It's the 2011 version ... the 2012 version just came out 2-3 days ago and so far is only available at full price ($199.99 + ship).

The 2011 version I have for sale, not only updates roads and poi, but also includes a major firmware update from your 2008 version. The difference tween the 11 and 12 versions is road and pui updates.

Hmmm, I wonder where I can get a copy of that without paying the GM prices. It would be nice to have a disc that actually shows my house and the proper name of the street.

A copy of the 2011 or 2012?

2011 you can get from me (not a copy, an oem version), 2012 I've only seen them for sale at full price.

And the last guy I know on this forum that used a pirated version, fried his nav.

I've been blessed so far. I'm running a pirated version of 6.0 right now without any problems. I paid $40 for it. I was just thinking out loud concerning 7.0.
