I recently purchased an 04 Yukon Denali and the previous owner lost the nav disc. Is it necessary that I upgrade? The gmc website says I need part/disc no. 22846887. Is there a cheaper way to get it than the $200 on their website? Any help would be appreciated. First time owner here.

E-mail would be great: [email protected]

Yes, although I heard a few people say it was a disc error when inserted into the system. Have you heard it work for people?

alot of the problems i've read about it are the fact people are trying to burn the nav disc to a single layer dvd. to burn it properly you need to buy a dual layer dvd disc and make sure your burner and burning software recognize a dual layer disc. i saw some good instruction on how to do it on the kickasstorrent.com site, when you search for the gm part number it was there in with the reviews for it
