I bought a 2023 Tahoe with the rear media entertainment. When I plug my iPhone into the lightning adapter then the hdmi cord my iPhone freezes. If I unplug the phone the video will play but as soon as I plug it in the phone freezes. Any help would be greatly appreciated I don’t want to have to use onstar WiFi when I have unlimited on my phone.

Are you using the Apple branded Lightning > HDMI adapter or some cheap 3rd party?

That’s why. The knock offs don’t do proper HDMI copyright protection. Basically Netflix and Disney apps say “hey don’t let the phone send video to anything I can’t trust isn’t copying or stealing the video on”.
You should be able to buy one from Apple or Amazon and try it, if I’m wrong just return it.
