Nav Voice Commands???

I have been having a lot of questions lately and appreciate you guys putting up with my stupidity...now its time for my next question lol.

I just installed factory nav with the vss kit, but I can't get any of the voice commands to work, it takes me directly to onstar to make a call...its driving me crazy, what am I doing wrong?

Someone has had to of had this problem before when going from non-nav to nav...what did you do to get voice recognition/command to work???

do you guys think I need a new VCIM to do the voice commands, or am I missing some wire somewhere?
