You can download offline maps to your phone on Google maps. Your vehicle does this too…automatically in the background…it doesn’t have the whole USA Google map saved. Look in the settings for the Google maps app on the vehicle infotainment system, it will show you the downloaded area.

Since I asked this question a couple of weeks ago my new Yukon arrived and it came with Sygic and Osmand+ nav apps that automatically connect to your smartphone.
