Im gonna be selling one cheaper soon, just posted a thread in the fs section of a 02 denali im parting out in NJ. however i believe lq9's were only 05/06+. and the prior 6.0's are lq4's?

The 02-06 Escalade came with the 5.3 on the 2wd ones until 05 which was replaced by the 6.0, the 6.0 in all those years was the LQ9 the LQ4 came in the Denali's and pickups, the LQ9 has more hp (345) has flat top pistons, with higher compression so 91+ is needed the LQ9 was made for Cadillac was latter used in the SS pickups, and the Vortec Max trucks, which is why the LQ9 is worth a premium compared to the LQ4
