Ok heres the deal. I bought these brand new about 2 mos ago, and decided to have them blacked out. Found someone on craigslist that said they did blackouts.....long story short they got jacked up, the clearcoat maybe reacted with the blackout paint, I dunno but they need sanded and completely redone, and honestly I dont have the time or paitence to do it.

They have never been installed, they are brand new other than the botched blackout job.

Here is what they are and thats exactly what I paid for them:

Heres the 3rd brake light:

Heres a link to photobucket, there are pics of them now with the jacked paintwork:

I would like $125 shipped for them (lower 48 only), but I realize they require some work so Im open to negotiate/trade parts.

lol it was some craigslist joker that was rattlecan-ing them. no blood from a turnip as they say. lesson learned, ill just have to do it myself when i can find time. i just dont have the tools to sand these back down. i figure ill pass them along to someone with the stuff to do it for a good price, and just start over. may have bodyshop do them when i get my esky rear parts painted.

i think the 3rd just needs to be finish sanded and buffed. he had already started sanding it when i took them back, so its hazy from the 1500 grit.

yea you would just have to sand off the clear and the blackout paint. once you got through that, it would just be clear plastic under that and then you would probably just need to polish/buff it out so it was nice and glossy again. i used to do a lot of plastics and plexi work, and with the right tools, you could have these back to almost origional in probably 1 hr per light. unfortunately i dont have access to those tools any more, hence the reason im selling these!
