UPDATE PICS!!!!

Got a little more done in the time I have....

Starting to clean all the carbon build up on the intake manifold, it's NASTY.....

Got the engine paintd! I think it looks good!!! Chevy Orange....

Finally got the new engine mounts done!!! Check 'em out!!! $7/ea from my hook up!

Also stated to clean up some of the parts and paint them black, I know...they will chip and go back to looking like crap later but it'll look good for now!!!

Started mounting some of the brackets and accessories back to the new motor!!! Tell me what you think?!?!?

haha nice..
what pissed me off about my brother built pontiac 400 motor was, they painted it pontiac baby blue(machine shop). And after the initial break in and normal driving, it all faded and idk.. i think ill go with black the rest of my life.

I thought about that too.. But I still think the Orange looks sweet!!!

And god forbid it leaks you'll be able to see it easily.....

Should have it done & installed by Sunday evening or Monday.....

i got mine rebuilt into a 383 for $1500...and thats witha warranty on the rebuild

pulls nice now:rocking:

Lookin good.

I find it easier to bolt the motor mounts to the block, after it is in place with a few bolts through the bell housing.

They tend to get hung up on things when getting close to "pinning" the bell housing.

Just trying to make it easier.............. :)
