Hello dear Chevy friends.
I plan to install LED strings in the door panel in my Tahoe. I want to use this as a kind of ambient lighting. My idea was that I attack the voltage of one of the LED lights of the power windows or seat heating. Because these lights only run when the head light is turned on.
Therefore, I am looking for a circuit diagram shows me where I can pick up the voltage so that these LED cords only shine when the light is turned on. Because otherwise they always shine when I connect directly to 12 volts and Ground.
I am an electrician so I know myself with electricity. Unfortunately I do not have a circuit diagram here in Germany that could tell me what color the wires are for which function.
Can someone help me here and provide a plan? A picture shows you what I mean with LED strings.
Thank you,
Markus from Germany
