I’m hoping so. The challenge is to fine a switched circuit to use.By far the easiest and least intrusive is an add-a-circuit from the driver's side fuse box.
There are plenty down there to choose from. Also, I took out my 12v socket in the console and installed one of those ubiquitous little round 12v switches. Since that socket is switched, it was easy to repurpose. I kept the flip-down cap over the switch and use said switch to control my Uniden R3 radar detector mounted top left of windshield. And depending on what you need the new circuit for, you can just throw a relay on it to provide adequate power for the gadget in question.
