Hi all,

All start by saying for the last seven years I've always wanted a Z71 Tahoe. Recently I've become in need of something that can tow better than my Jeep YJ. So recently I came across a 2004 White Z71 Tahoe with 177,*** miles. It's a one owner. The guy said that ever since the warranty ran up he's done all the scheduled maintence, and the diffs have been flushed within the last 20,*** miles. He's asking 8,000 for it, but he's told me he's tired of sitting on it so he said he'll take almost any reasonable off I make for him. I'm just looking for advice on what a fair price would be for it, and as well maintained it looks I'm sti very hesitant on buying a used car with that many miles even though I know if taken care of they'll run forever. Any advice y'all could give would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

they are great vehicles, but you'll probably need a good bit of maintenance after another 25k depending on what has already been done. things to check for are rear main seal, water pump, fuel pump, transmission flush records (the 4l60e transmissions aren't the most stout trans ever made. but are usually just fine if its always had stock size wheel/tires)

feel free to throw up some pics as well.

I appreciate the response. How what should I listen to to make sure the fuel pump is in good working order?
