need bs/offset help with my leveled yukon

Okay guys, this is my first post. And while I'm sure this has been posted I can't seem to find anything that gives me a specific answer. No matter how much I read or research I just can't seem to wrap my head around the whole backspacing and offset thing. I've got a 2001 gmc yukon with the rc leveling kit on it, and I wanna fill up those wheel wells. The problem is, I have no idea what backspacing or offset will fit it best. I know every truck is slightly different, but I'd love some advice if you guys can shed some light on the subject. I'd like for the tires to stick out maybe about a half inch. so my question is, what offset and backspacing do I need to obtain that, without having to trim for days. thanks guys.

What size tire do you want to run? Backspace isn't as important as offset, if you stay with a 0 or slightly negative offset wheel, you will be flush with the edge of the fender assuming you don't have flares. With that setup you should be able to run a 33" tire no problem.

I'm sorry I haven't replied sooner, I've been away for a wedding. And yes, I should've specified, I'd like to run a tire that's around 33" and I do not have fender flares. I'm looking at 17x9 Pro Comp 7031's that have a -6 offset. Will that fit pretty well and give the appearance I'm looking for?

I am not as familiar with the SUVs but I know you could run 33/12.5s on a leveled truck with those wheels. I would say you should be all set. Those should sit about flush with the fender.
