need help, abs light on

hey guys, well today i noticed my abs light turned on and wont come off, i havent noticed a difference in my braking, but im still worried, has this happened to anyone on here? how do i go upon fixing this? i have an obd1 so diagnosing would be diffrent from an obd2, any help guys?

When I noticed mt ABS light came on a couple of years ago I changed the wheel bearings.

You would still need a scanner but lucky for http://www.oreillyauto.com has one for $25. Equus 3123 gm code reader. Manual also describes code too. Just use the proper chart in the book. Works for engine codes as well.

Yea mine came on also about 4 weeks ago. just had the time the other day to clean my abs sensors. lights still on... oreilly has a scanner to see why its on?! ill have to check that out!!

crap! that scanner wont work for mmy truck...

19yukon97 your 97 will need an OBD2 scanner with abs function which will cost more.
