I'm planning on adding a body lift to my current and soon to be added to setup. I had a 2" on my old 1990 2500 I hated how much frame showed. I figure the running boards will hide the frame, but I think a 3" will still show frame and not look good. I'd like as much height as I can get without going with a 6"+ lift since I might end up selling this and getting another pickup. right now I have the Rough country lower strut spacer. I'm planning on getting the bilstein 5100s and running on the clip that adds 1 inch of lift... Possibly changing to the 2" position depending on how much it actually pics the front up. I'd be adding a 1-3" spacer in the rear depending how it sits after the shocks. My lower spacers added 1.75 inches so I'd like to get around 3" from the suspension and 2-3 from a body. I'd be doing upper control arms lower ball joints and inner and outer tie rods when I put the bilsteins in and add more lift. It needs lower ball joints soon and shocks are oe with 160k on em so I figure I might as well do it all at once :D

Any pics of your body lifts or stories about it would be appreciated. I have been against body lifts but if I want more than 3 inches without spending 1200+ this is my only other option. I'm running 275/60 on the stock 20x8.5 5 spoke wheels and will be adding 2" spacers for the time being just to see how much room wider and offset wheels will take up. Planning on some 33-35 (33/34 most likely to keep stress off the drivetrain without re-gearing)and 11.5-12.5 on some 20x10 with a -19 offset. I want to do 12s but that's more stress than I want to put on the front end

Thanks
