Hi, I have a 2008 Yukon XL (1500) and have the gmc 20" rims on. stock tires are 275/55/20, tire rack calculator says i can fit 295/50/20
I'm trying to see if I can fit 295/55/20 Nitto Trail Grappler tires on.
I did put a 2 inch lift kit in the front of my yukon to even out the vehicle.
Any suggestions?

Or tossing up the idea of going goodyear duratrac, but they have it in 275/65/20 and 285/60/20, not sure if these will fit? Trying to decide which one (trail grappler/duratrac) fits better, and drives better in the snow.

The first number in the tire size refers to the width (in millimeters) of the track. You should have no problem fitting the 295/55/20 on your truck with 2" kit. As for the second number, which refers to the sidewall height (in millimeters), I'm really not sure if you can fit anything with a 65 sidewall, but that's because I haven't looked.

I used to have 305 Terra Graps w/ 20" wheels plus a 2" lift. They fit fine, but anything bigger you gotta cut. Not just plastic, but metal.
