If the problem is in the transfer case will the transmission still shift normal?

That link was a big help Thanks! I had the same problem a couple months ago with the transfer case kicking into neutral and it was the encoder motor sensor ring I replaced the sensor and that's fixed it but I guess its the whole motor now. Thanks again for the info Leedogg

I guess that's my next step i just found out I have the famous pump rub leak I refilled the transfer case and patched the leak but i think to much damage has already been done planing on putting a rebuilt transfer case form transfer case express there the best I've seen or heard of $795 with a all new aluminium rear case new style pump that fixes the problem with a twelve month / unlimited mileage warranty other places my have the same warranty but not the aluminium rear case. and there $1,000 and up. Thanks for the help on here y'all have been a big help there's a lot i know about Chevy's but a lot i don't about there electric controlled stuff so i'm sure i'll be back with ?
