Need help guys with rims!

Well I don’t mind the ride. I drive this like I stole it and when I get into turns with the 20’s it slides out from under itself constantly. I don’t mind sacrificing ride comfort for better control.

I had gone down in rim diameter on my last suburban. It was an 03 and I had a set of 16” Duratracks that I got for a steal so I got some wheels and put em on. That truck rode ok but was bouncy and left money on the table in the turns. My current 13 Burb rides on 22” wheels and is a much tighter truck in the turns. I don’t mind the ride.

I think its due to a couple factors that can be dealt with. I believe getting to the backs and cleaning them well is important. I personally will be planning on ceramic pads to keep the brake dust under control. I am strongly considering a ceramic coating on the new ones I picked up.

I keep all my chrome wheels waxed on the back. When I rotate them they get washed and waxed on the back.

Took a couple shots if your vehicle color with chrome and black. Personally, I like the chrome look. I had AR899’s(discontinued I think) on our 2008 that was the same color as yours.

Yea, chrome is like a good lookin woman....high maintenance.

Seen a couple light colored vehicles with the large black wheels and a chrome or polished outer rim. Looked pretty darn good on those I thought. The all black wheels look good on, well, nothing really. I don't like them for the most part.
