I have a 99 2 door tahoe, how interchangeable are the 4l60e 4x4 transmissions? Do they differ from the 4 dr? Is the transfer case different? What about the drive shaft distance? Does it make a big difference from the push button and the floor shift? I found one at the local salvage yard 99 4dr 4x4 but it looks different than what is in mine. Don't want to spend time and money yanking it out only to need to change transfer case and drive shaft. Sunlit any info? This is the trans currently in the vehicle.
