Need Help with A/C controlls

my ac blows cold and the compressor and rest of the parts have been replaced recently. but for some reason it wont blow on high once you turn it to low it wont blow any harder. is my switch the problem or is there something else i should be looking for???

this was the cheapest controls i could find and i don't wanna pay $170 http://www.1aauto.com/1A/HeatingandACControls/Chevy/Tahoe/1AHCX00046/343000

can anyone find one cheaper?

Its probably your HVAC control unit. My 96 tahoe kind of does the same thing but it doesnt really bother me that much

that is what it is i pulled it out and found there is a short in one of the wires connecting to the HVAC controls what should i do to go about replacing that?
