no as long as it punctures the can and does not leak with aclosed valve and it fits your hoses you are good to go. Enjoy. Shops that don't have the big machines than you can put a 30lb tank in uses them all the time so they don't have to lug a large cylinder around.

My only problem now (and I dont mean to beat a dead horse) is capacity. Every place I check says something differant. Alldata, chilton say 44ozs, while tech choice, Mitchels, autozone, Napa say 64ozs then another site stated 56ozs. Really unbelievable IMO!

Im going to do this myslef tomorrow but I really dont know where to begin....

Yeah, unfortunately I do. :(

Im just trying to get this rite. I appreciate all your help!

BTW: I now know what happened regarding the condenser issues. When the first guy installed the condenser he installed it upside down, the lines go through the radiator support one on top of the other with no way to mix them up. But with the condenser flipped the lines are now reversed. So then the new guy realizes the lines are backwards he connects the condenser the rite way. A few weeks later when we realize the condenser is not pulling the temp down he swaps it. He installs the replacement the "correct way" but that in hand makes the lines reversed again. Really ridiculous! I dont know whats worse the fact that 2 mechanics effed up. Or gm makes condensers that fit either way and that they have the same size fitting on either end.

Or the fact that this effects hundreds of thousands of vehicles with what I am sure is a thousand mechanics to screw it up as well.

I cannot imagine how many times it happened.....I read this problem on several differant sites thats probably the only reason why the truck is now correct. If you guys didnt tell me to check IMO these two mechanics would have never found it on their own.
