I have a 2007 Tahoe LT that has a Mcgaughys 2/3 lowering kit on it. The kit includes spindles, rear springs and shock relocators. I did cut the bump stop some for clearence. Not sure what the problem is but it ride horrible. When you hit a bump you swear the suspension is welded solid and sometimes it feels like the rear end hops when it hits some bumps. Today I noticed that the driver side front looked like it was sitting lower so I went measure from the ground to the fender. The driver side front measured at 32 3/8" while the passenger side measured in at 32 7/8". Is it suppose to sit like this or could there be something causing it. I would appreciate any words of advice. Its been hell since I bought this suv.

this is normal for the front this is why I have been modifying the stock struts for over 6 years now to get the front of the customers trucks even.

In rear how much space do you have before the bumpstop hits the axle?? If its less than 2.5 inches I would do the free travel mod will make it have a lot more travel.

Modify the strut to have it set level? I went to get a alignment and they told me that the balljoints and tie rod ends need to be changed. They said the factory ball joints cant be used with the spindles lol. They quoted me $2700 to replace everything. This Tahoe has been hell since day one.

No It isnt that much but I will look into the free travel mod

Im wondering if the strut might be blown in the front. We lowered my friends Silverado with the same spindles last night and his sits level while mine has a lean to the driver side
