Welcome!

Badass for sure!!

Gotta love Turbos!! Boost rules!!!

This is your daily driver right?

I say stick with your current turbo, it will be better suited to daily driving, the 67 will have more lag. but its all up to you how you want to drive it.

I reccomend a good precision industries torque converter, at least a 3000 stall tripple disc.

And a good comp cam boost friendly grind, and a retune.

You'll be surprised and the extra power and driveabilty these mods will wring out of your already potent combo. Also still making it daily driver freindly but hell on wheels when you mash it.

Good luck. I have no experience with lowered vehicles so good luck with that though!

Wow! Looking at the bottom of your sig it looks like you should know. Sound like you had a mean set up. I kind of worried about the spool on the 67 I know the 76 is real bad. Thanks for the info....

I have some experience with turbos, they are fun!!!!! I ran high 12's low 13's with my STS setup with my tune kinda fat on the bottom end and a T60 garret.

But the thing people forget is our trucks are heavier than cars and it takes a quicker spooling turbo to get the weight moving!

And since your esky is a daily driver im betting you wont be happy with the laggy turbo.

My buddy had a 67 on his ext cab GMC Z71 and on top end he had me but i always got him outta the hole and midrange with my T60.

its all where you want your power.

But a definite help to your vehicle would be a good stall converter.

Yes that is my truck...that was not me driving though. I believe it may have been Rick LeBlanc from Livernois he is the one that modded the truck and that was while they were tuning with a slipping tranny at the time. From what I understand it was used for their advertising on the kit and shop duties and car shows! They did some awesome work!
