It should, and they are made from a poly material instead of foam so hopefully they don't degrade as much.

Thanks for that information. I ordered 2 and now I'm waiting for them. Can you also tell me what the thing is in the below picture? Is it supposed to look like that? I looks naked to me for some reason

Sway bar end links like was said. They're supposed to look like that but if the rubber parts are damaged they should be replaced. They're not naked lol.

This is what my bump stops looked like after 155k miles. I think I could have gone a few more miles...

Pictured with the Z71 parts I mentioned earlier. The stock replacement parts are rounded at the top instead of pointy. Rides great now, just have to replace a bunch of steering parts now. Noticed the pitman arm is wiped out. Going to replace the tie rods, idler and bracket, and ball joints. while I'm at it.

Dude that thing is toasted!! I ordered the z71 bumps from gmpartsdirect when you first suggested them and still waiting on them! UPS says Friday so I'll get them in this weekend and hopefully get some pics uploaded

Yes those are for 3/4 ton. That is what I have as well. They are from the Z71 2500HD trucks. You will probably notice the front is a little higher after installing these because the 2500 trucks ride on the bump stops and they aren't smashed like your stock ones.
Besides the shape being different, are the Z71 stops the same height as the non-Z71 stops?

Also, have you replaced your steering stabilizer? I was trying to last weekend when I found out that the stud is pressed into the center link, eventually gave up trying to get it out and just put everything back together.

I don't know about the height. I only said it would probably sit a little higher because the new stops aren't totally gone. From pictures I have seen they look the same height, just different shape and material.

I have a GMT800 and I didn't have the steering stabilizer. I thought about adding it. Rent a front end service kit from Advance (648626 is the kit number). Just put the jaws on the center link and screw end on the stud, crank on it with a 5/8 wrench or impact, and they pop apart pretty easy. I just used it to change all my front end components on my truck.
