I was an idiot and didn't pay attention to how the spare tire came off. I went to put it back up under the back and hooked it up upside down i guess. The metal rod at the end of the cable is now stuck up inside the housing for the cable and I can't get it out. Now the spare tire is just dangling there in the wind. Is there a trick to popping that stupid rod out of the housing? I'm ready to punch out a window right now.
