Looking to buy a 99 Tahoe. Pros: very reasonable price, 2 door, has after market 18 inch rims and new tires, engine rebuild with 15000 miles(145000 on the body), dual exhaust, clean interior, comes with (not installed) 2 inch lift, working 4x4. Cons: seller painted the hood and rear cargo doors with rhino line bed liner. Paint guys, Is this something that is an easy fix? Should I paint the rest of it with the bed liner, or have it totally redone to an original color? Money is a factor here!

You may want to scrounge junkyards then for the same color hood and cargo doors either off a Tahoe or Suburban. They made quite a few of these during the years and the junkyard prices are pretty low in most areas for them. May take some work to move all the parts over if necessary but could be a less expensive but more time consuming option.

Just me, but a rebuilt engine at 130,000 miles, aftermarket rims/tires to go with, lift kit to go on.
Seems like it was beat on, even if it looks good.
Not saying it's not a good buy, just something to think about.
I would agree with junkyard parts. Would be cheaper, neither should be to hard to do yourself. Maybe grab a buddy to help.

Whelp ended up buying the 99 2 door. the paint job is pitiful! And the interior is a mess but the engine and trans run great, have a total of 7000 miles on it with new 18" rims and 35 12.50's on it. On the bright side I paid $1500. I figure put another $2000 (give or take) with new seats, dash, random trim pieces, fix the dome lights and a new paint job and I'll have a $3500 clean running 4x4.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1385243803.089216.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1385243812.422288.jpg

The spray on bed liner stuff that was painted in peals off with fingernail pressure so I figured it wouldn't be too much to keep the original stuff and take a little time and remove it.
