Need new backup camera

Stupid ebay backup camera crapped out on me after just 5 months. It's the kit from eBay that comes with the monitor and camera. It looks like a proprietary system and I don't think I can just plug another camera into it.

Any ideas what I can do? I'm not in the mood for a DD conversion either, maybe a monitor that fits in the onstar cubby?

I ordered a Pyle camera and monitor. I'm going to fit it into the dash somehow. Thanks for the info....I already broke the monitor by tapping on it in a last ditch effort to make something happen.....cold day and it shattered.
