Hey guys, I'm trying to get some feedback on some new tires. I have stick 16" wheels and want to get some tires I will love. Any suggestions? I use the Yukon to pull boats, hunt, and lots of highway miles. I was leaning toward all-terrains because of the occasional drive through trails and boats and etc.

I have general grabbers at2's on my winter wheels. They have a similar tread design to the bfg all-terrains at a lot better price. I really like these tires and they seem to be wearing very well. You might give these a look because I love mine!

I have some matte black 16" wheels coming soon, I am looking to get some new tires as well. I'm looking at probably the yokohamas because they are priced a lot better than some of the other more expensive tires....however the Nitto Terra Grapplers that everyone here loves sure do look badass..

What size tire are you going with?

I'm just getting stock tire size. 265/70s. I may be getting new wheels this summer and making some alterations so these will end up being my winter wheels and tires. I like the BFG but I have also been looking at the pirelli scorpion ATRs and a couple more. Looks like the BFGs are popular but sooo expensive!

If these are going to be your winter tires, then I'd highly reccommend checking out the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac. I'm running them in 305/70 16 on my toyota and they are by far the best damn tires I've ever owned for snow and ice. Snowflake rated, and if you REALLY want to get gnarly they can be pinned for studs. Super quiet considering the tread pattern, too. They look mean but certainly don't sound like they look.

If the DT's are too aggressive looking for you, my second choice would be the Terra Grappler. Ran those on the old Yukon in 285/75 16 and 20K miles later they still looked new. Awesome tires for the price.

I'm a fan of GoodYear Wrangler RT-S. I've had several sets in the past and they perform well at a pretty good price...
