Need recommendation please & a couple questions

So after realizing I can fit a 6 x 9 in the rear of my 99 Yukon, I am returning the 4 x 10's and going the 6 x 9 route.

Any suggestions on who's 6x9's to purchase?

Thanks in advance for the advice
Mike

+1....i'm currently looking at kicker ks690s because they get good bass response but am interested in hearing about anything that might be better.

The KS690 or the KS6930... looks like good choices to me. I was looking at the KS6983PS (4 way). I notice the KS690 are only 2 ways and the KS6930 are 3 ways.

KS690 - 2 way
KS6930 - 3 way
KS6983PS - 4 way

Outta those 3 whats my best choice?

I guess I am not certain about the differences between 2, 3, and 4 way speakers.

I just want a lil more punch... only thing I believe this thing is lacking.

Also... when I got to install these speakers, I have read about the factory amp. So is the correct way to make sure they work is to take the blue lead coming off my hooking that up to what and where?

2 way is just that, mid (6x9) and seperate tweeter, a three way has the 6x9 mid, adn two seperate tweeters on top.

I would think the 2 ways are fine.

my vote is infinity reference for front and back. 6.5s in doors and 6x9 in back celling (97' 2 door). I just swapped them last weekend and love it! sounds worlds better. I'm running off the factory head unit too.
