1998 Chevy Tahoe 2dr. Need new front drivers seat. its shot. Found a perfect leather heated replacement at a junk yard last year brand new for 50 bucks but lost it in my shed to hurricane sandy. Here are my questions

Due to Hurricane Sandy there are a shit load of NBS interiors laying around my area. some got wet some didnt. Want to upgrade seats and console.

What passenger seat options do you really have on a 2 door to allow for people to get into the back seat with the sliding base ? Can that base be remounted.

Also looking the aftermarket route. Arm Rests are a must and the the passenger side slider must be kept. Any suggestions

Have you tried http://katzkin.com/ ? You can design custom leather seat covers for your truck and completely change the look. I have seen some people with the OBS seats with NBS leather seat factory leather swapped onto their seats. Looks pretty good

I started to look at that site but i want to replace the whole drivers seat. the motorized track is shot and the seat is missing a good chunk of foam. Went through 2 drivers seats already.

that katzkin site seems way to much trouble than its worth. you cant just order covers and do it yourself

You can do it your self but trying to find a place that will sell just the covers is being a pain in the as. Then when you do find a place its going to be a a major pain putting them on if you never done it before. You will need some new hog rings and the tool to put them on. If I can find a place that will sell me the covers I got a buddie who will help me put them on.

I think you can call them and order it from a sales rep. Not sure if they still do that or not anymore. But they used to and you got their direct price instead of a shop mark up for ordering
