i just purchased my tahoe and they guy that had it before just had the curbs and his drive way redone by the city. now there is cement/cement sealer sprayed up on the paint and in the fender wells and on the running boards. the stuff sprayed up on the plastic stuff i am really not worried about but i dont want it on the paint! any ideas or suggestions on how to get it off?? i will attache a pic you can see behind both tires what i am talking about.. i though mabye it would flake off but it doesnt come off easy and i dont wanna damage the paint. i understand that most likely what ever i use will take the wax off and thats fine i wanna clay bar and wax it before the weather turns here in ohio any way.. any help or idea would be great! thanks is advance!!

hmm, try adhesive remover. It comes in a spray can which make it pretty easy. Its paint friendly too.

It's been suggested to use the "Nitro" fuel for RC cars to remove the adhesive for the moldings, you could try that....

I've never tried to get this stuff off so I'm not sure what will work

I am a concrete contractor in PA. We Mostly do Roads and Bridges for PennDOT, but also do a lot of slipform curb work.

I manage all the jobs, and visit many job sites everyday, so I get this type of material behind my rear wheels, and inside my fender wells ALL the time! It really is not terribly hard to get rid of.

Nitro fuel is a very good cleaner, and certainly works for this. If you are using it, make sure you have a buffer and some wax and get it right back on the paint, after rinsing the nitro fuel off the area...

Another product that works really well for this stuff is the 3M pin stripe remover wheel. It is like hard rubber eraser. It has been mentioned in may threads about door molding removal. I ended up ordering two extra, because I often have this material on the bottom of my truck, near the wheel wells.

Either way, make sure you rinse, buff, then wax.
