Ok i have manual windows and electric locks in my 99 2dr. I just bought a wrecked 98 2dr with electric windows and locks and i wanna swap em over. How do i get my manual window panel out and all the electric stuff in? I tried it earlier but i can seem to figure out how to get it off? I have the plastic door panel off, just need to know what to do to get the metal one of without breaking the glass amd getting the new ones on? PLEASE HELP!!!:emotions122:

i wish the wrecked one is red, mine is white.. but i only paid 400 for the junker but it only has 55k on it original! and it is a 4x4 so it still has alot of like new parts for me to **** from it..

how bad is it wrecked to bad u cant put ur good parts on the wrecked one lol
as far as the power window idea im not sure GL LOL
it seams like it mite be a pain in the butt

yeah it was hit from behind, and destroyed the whole rear end of the hoe, so swaping parts to the wrecked on is out of the question, but it was fully loaded and mine is like the super duper base model... no tilt, no cruise, power locks, manual windows and manual 4x4 gear change, no push button 4x4... DAMNIT

You have to unbolt the door module, but first make sure your window is rolled down all the way. The door module is held in with about a dozen or so
7mm hex head bolts. You'll also need to remove the larger 10mm nut that holds the glass channel in place. Once all unbolted CAREFULLY tilt and slide the module/window assembly out of the bottom of the door. Make sure you support the glass with your hand, otherwise it will bend the arms that hold it and possibly break. Installation is the reverse of removal, with the addition of running the wiring harness for the power windows and locks.:)

wow, and i thought all the power stuff would've come standard, considering they were already paying about $35K for the truck back then!

Hey man don't complain about the manual 4x4. Push button sucks balls.
